Although fairly new, the Drawouts Pod strikes a good balance between four friends just having a conversation and four friends addressing what they see as issues in their community. The authenticity of four young Black men discussing everything from relationships to racism makes the Drawouts Pod an upcoming favourite amongst listeners.

The Receipts Podcast
Tolly T, Milena Sanchez and Ghana’s finest’s Receipts podcast also strike the perfect balance between entertainment and the discussion of serious topics. By answering dilemma questions, talking about their own experiences and shedding an honest light on issues, these three hosts have allowed many to gain the information and advice they need. As well as uplifting women, this podcast does very well in educating men on certain topics. Just like the 3 Shots of Tequila, this fan favourite has massively contributed in shining a light on Black British podcasts. It’s definitely one of of the podcasts to listen to.

This podcast is one of our personal favourites. By breaking down important financial, economic and political information, the DISUNOMICS podcast allows you to learn and build upon your knowledge of what’s going on around you. By keeping discussions relative to the experiences of ordinary people, this podcast goes a lot further in educating people than most textbooks and news websites. A basic understanding of the world around you and economics is vital to anyone’s success, and this podcast will help you translate the jargon into common sense.
