Grab a pen and paper; the former First Lady is getting ready to teach you some lessons. The Michelle Obama Podcast is released, and we can’t wait to listen to more.
If you haven’t heard about her book, BECOMING, you’ve probably been living under a rock. With more than 11 million copies sold, Michelle Obama’s story continues to inspire a lot of people around the world. In addition, her Netflix documentary, which made a lot of people fall in love with her all over again was a huge success – people all around the world simply can’t get enough of the girl from the South Side, Chicago.
And if you’re betting on the Michelle Obama fever to die down soon, you’re about to lose a lot of money – Mrs Obama and her legions of fans are not disappearing any time soon. We’re very happy about that, and you should be too. For many who can’t get enough of her, her recent deal with Spotify, to host her podcast show called “The Michelle Obama Podcast”, will be a pleasant highlight in a year most want to forget.

Unlike her husband, she isn’t viewed or judged as a politician – that’s what makes her so appealing. Don’t get us wrong, Barack Obama has his legions of dedicated fans too, but unlike his wife, he’s constrained by the position he occupied.
In a statement, she said, ” I hope this podcast will help listeners open up new conversations—and hard conversations—with the people who matter most to them”. And we’re in no doubt, that by interviewing the likes of Valerie Jarrett and Eric Holder, she’ll be having important conversations whilst inspiring people in a way only Michelle Obama can.
The Michelle Obama Podcast will be available on Spotify on July 29.
For a woman who left the White House with a reported approval rating of 68%, Michelle Obama’s popularity shows no signs of slowing down. Mrs Obama isn’t just a former first lady with a book, and a podcast, she’s highly educated, intelligent and very very impressive. We think, and many people will agree (we hope), that Mrs Obama is the only First Lady who’s been able to create an image and reputation independent from her husband’s.
In the current political, economic and social climate, a lot of people will be eagerly awaiting The Michelle Obama’s podcast. And if the success of her book, her documentary, career and public life to date is anything to go by, you should get ready because from July 29, Michelle Obama is going to have a lot to say, and you’ll really need to listen.
