Style Lessons to Learn From Trent Alexander-Arnold

Style Lessons to Learn From Trent Alexander-Arnold

The Premier League star has pulled off enough big fits for us to take note – as should you.

Of late, Trent, one of Liverpool’s leading men has pulled off some pretty big fits, breaking the mould of badly dressed ballers. With good looks and an eye for detail, the 25-year-old has made a pretty big impression with style lovers the world over, earning him kudos with the biggest names in fashion.

Below, we detail all the style lessons you can – and must – learn from him.

Black Don’t Crack

It’s long been said that when it comes to matters of style, black is boring, lazy, and the easy way out. But, as proven by Trent, that isn’t always true. For his appearance at the Dolce & Gabbana show in Milan, Alexander-Arnold stepped out in the perfect ensemble. The lesson to learn? Get a statement piece – like that bomber. And, whilst you’re at it, get some trousers that fit well, with a pair of neat, polished boots (or loafers) to match.

For extra points, feel free to mix casual and formal elements (like the bomber and tie).

It’s All in the Print

Prints work, simple. For one, they’re an easy way to stand out, adding a bit of personality to an outfit. Just don’t overdo it – nothing screams bozo like a badly chosen (or worse, offensive) print. Like Trent, start picking some prints, opting for ones that stand out without doing too much.

All Hail the Loafer

There’s a lot to be said about the trusty loafer. Few items are as versatile, cool and just damn nice. Whether jeans or tailored trousers, shorts (or jorts) wide-leg cuts, the loafer just about pairs well with everything. Plus, given that style gods have long stood by its sartorial power, you’ll do well to do the same.
